50+ Awesome Time Saving WordPress Keyboard Shortcuts
If you are much like me, you need to bang out your blog publish as rapidly as you possibly can. In the end, we’re busy people with a lot of essential things you can do (i.e. sleep).
Even though I’ll spend an hour or so sweating out a gut wrenching workout at the health club, I’ve found it tiresome reaching to use my mouse. It’s barely 10 inches where my hands take a seat on my keyboard, but it’s extra effort and I love to be efficient. Why achieve to use my mouse to click a tab when there’s a faster method of doing it with my keyboard?
Fortunately, WordPress includes a lot of nifty shortcuts that could save you some time and unnecessarily be expending calories clicking your mouse.
Everything, The Drain
Firstly. You have to open your kitchen Sink. This small feature reveals an entire another type of options that will help you take full advantage of the publish interface, for example, font styles, copy and pasting from Word and something of my favorites, removing formatting.
As well as the option we’re after is Help. So either click the button or hit Shift Alt-H.
The Rich Editor Help window will open. Click on Hotkeys to reveal some shortcut goodness.
Forget about getting to click on the B button together with your mouse to create some text bold! In addition, there’s you don’t need to switch from the Visual editor and into the Text editor to surround < h2> tabs around a heading. And rather of click Add Media to insert a picture inside your publish you can just hit Command+M for iOS or CTRL+M for Home windows to rapidly mention the press manager. Sweet!
But it is not all. You can even find more shortcuts that aren’t displayed in Wealthy Editor Help.

Moderating comments could be a task. Because of shortcuts, you are able to accelerate the procedure and obtain your comments sorted very quickly.
Shortcuts to browse and moderate comments have been around since WordPress 2.7. You will have to turn this selection on, so visit Users > Your Profile and tick “Enable keyboard shortcuts for comment moderation.”
Now that’s done, mind for your Comments page by clicking the tab within the admin panel.
You are able to navigate up and lower due to your comments while using J and K keys, using the selected comment turning azure. Give it a try.

Beautiful Distraction Free Writing
Certainly one of my personal favorite reasons for the Publish Editor is Distraction Free Writing. It supplies an easy and beautiful backdrop for the words. In the end, it’s only a white-colored background your text floating in all directions.
To show Distraction Free Writing off and on hit Shift Alt+W.
So that’s that. I’m now accustomed towards the shortcuts which I unintentionally rely on them in other text editors. I particularly love having the ability to rapidly add images and links with little fuss because of these time-saving shortcuts.
